MCR was founded in 1988 to meet the growing need in the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area for a full service computer & audio/visual rental company. MCR quickly realized it’s niche in the local markets and found that our agile, modest company profile afforded us the opportunity to respond to our clients’ specific rental needs in hours rather than days.

MCR moved from one service center to three cities in the Southeast in our first 2 years. We then moved to filling orders nationwide through our large network of partners. Today, MCR proudly offers our highly trained technicians and impeccable customer service not only in the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area, but also in Charlotte, NC; Wilmington, NC; Ashevile, NC; Columbia, SC; Greenville, SC; Charleston, SC; Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Knoxville, TN and Tampa, FL areas.

MCR is also a respected member of the International Technology Rental Association, our industry’s premier association. Membership in the ITRA allows us to guarantee the same state of the art equipment and customer service to all of our clients across the nation and globe. In addition, MCR’s founder, Stephen Mangum, having been elected by his industry peers, is currently serving his second consecutive term as ITRA President.
